Create a blissed out oasis in your backyard

Use flea market pieces with vintage charm to create a peaceful ambience

Hmm, what to do with those flea market pieces you couldn't resist (they were such a steal!), but are maybe, shall we say, mismatched at best. Our solution? Gather those disparate elements that can't seem to find the perfect home indoors and take them outside. We've created three cozy backyard looks filled with summer fun and a flair for the unexpected.

ENGLISH GARDEN

A children's mid-morning tea break becomes an engaging outdoor ritual before the sun gets too strong. The scene reflects a simple, nostalgic feel of 1930s halcyon days, when a summer picnic occupied the whole day. Set an old child's picnic table, softened with an array of fluffy cushions made from vintage fabrics, with a posy of quintessential English garden flowers, a tea set and some sweet treats all in the same pretty pink tones to bring the look together. Table, car, teddy bear, tea set, suitcase, pillows, all Stella Bleu.
